Naomi Dines' work often engages with specific
places, exploring the human implications of different systems,
environments and scenarios. She has been invited to particpate
in many curatorial projects, making interventions into different
environments, as well as creating work for gallery and museum
exhibitions. Most recently she has made work in, and for, a working
hospital, a scientific research institution, and a domestic home,
all in various Euorpean cities.
She uses many different methods, from installation and objects,
to photographic and video images, to tackle issues of embodiment,
experience, representation and understanding. Her subjects vary
according to their context, but share a common concern with human
perceptions of, and projections onto the world.
